Type and Location:  Non-Highway Vending Route covering Orlando and parts of Seminole County.

Reported Annual Sales:  $213,292.02 (August, 2016 through July, 2017).

Recommended Staffing:  1 full-time employee/driver plus the operator.

Operational Hours:  Typical weekday hours 8 am – 5 pm, but some locations (such as Orlando International Airport) have extended hours.

Services & Products:  Typical vending machine products.

Vending Machines:  32 snack, 38 drink, and 2 bill changers.  

Accessibility:  This facility is located on property which is ADA compliant.  Public transportation and special community based transportation for persons with disabilities are available.

Special Information or Requirements:  

  1. The route currently has 26 stops and covers approximately 150 miles to service the machines each week.  7 locations furthest to the north and to the east on the current route will be removed to create a 2nd Orlando vending route in mid-2018.  The George C. Young Federal Building micro-market and vending will be added to this route.  The overall facility sales are projected to remain approximately the same with these changes and will result in less time/travel to service the route.
  2. The Vendor and his or her employees must pass a background check required by the property owners.  The Vendor’s inability to pass clearance shall constitute disqualification.  Employee clearance may create staffing challenges.
  3. An appropriate commercial vehicle with proper insurance and a driver to transport product to multiple locations will be required and is the responsibility of the incoming vendor.

Availability Projection:  To be negotiated by the Consultant with outgoing and incoming vendors based on facility clearances. Estimated start date would be January 2018.
