Type and Location:  Highway Vending, I-75 Northbound Rest Area, Alligator Alley.

Estimated Annual Sales:  unknown (new facility). The Alligator Alley rest area on the other side of I-75 (Facility 481) reported sales of $346K over the most recent 12 month period (August, 2016 through July, 2017).  We estimate this new rest area (Facility 482) to generate a minimum of $175K in annual sales.

Recommended Staffing:  1 part-time employee plus the operator.

Operational Hours:  These facilities can be accessed 24 hours a day.

Services & Products:  Typical vending machine products.

Vending Machines:  3 snack, 4 drink, 1 frozen, 1 hot drink, and 1 bill changer.  

Accessibility:  This facility is located on property which is ADA compliant.  Due to its remote location, transportation options may be limited and the responsibility of the incoming vendor.

Special Information or Requirements:  The Department of Transportation projects this rest area to open sometime in the spring of 2018.  However, the completion date is subject to change.
