Innovative Projects Guide and Application

The Division of Blind Services is now accepting applications for the 2018 cycle of our Innovative Projects Program. The DBS Innovative Projects Program provides funding to support projects and programs that benefit Floridians who are blind or visually impaired. This year, DBS will award up to $300,000.00 to not-for-profit organizations who have innovative ideas or approaches for providing services to our target populations. To have your project considered for funding, please apply by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018.

For those entities who are interested in applying, but have questions about the program or application, representatives from the Innovative Projects Program Review Committee will be available via teleconference on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00 p.m. to answer questions. Attending this call is not mandatory. However, to ensure fairness to all applicants, guidance concerning the application process will only be available during this conference call.
